Dr. Perissinotto is a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Physician who is board certified in Geriatrics, Palliative Medicine and Internal Medicine. She built her career at UC San Francisco, where she developed and grew clinical programs serving older adults and established a research career understanding the health effects of loneliness and social isolation.
Dr. Perissinotto believes that caring for people in their home allows for a more holistic view of health.

Lauren is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, person-centered care for older adults. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco, where she was recognized as a NP Geri Scholar, and a BS in Nursing from Columbia Un
Lauren is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, person-centered care for older adults. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco, where she was recognized as a NP Geri Scholar, and a BS in Nursing from Columbia University. Lauren brings over a decade of experience as a registered nurse across diverse care settings and is passionate about bridging care gaps for medically and socially vulnerable older adults.
She also holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Her early career focused on community development, including work in affordable housing development and microfinance.
Drawing from her experience in both healthcare and community development, she is committed to advancing models of care that honor the histories, lives, and priorities of the older adults she serves.
Lauren is also certified to provide care in Spanish and has extensive experience supporting monolingual Spanish-speaking communities.
